Clare originally trained as an Occupational Therapist in 1985, and subsequently completed a hospital-based training in Group Psychotherapy and a post-graduate diploma in Counselling in 1991. She worked for a number of years in mental health and alcohol services, before moving to New Zealand in 1996 from the UK. Since 1999, Clare has worked extensively with people who have a cancer, and with people who have a life-limiting illness.
Clare has been involved in sex therapy since 2004, and is particularly interested in assisiting couples to develop their sexual connectedness and intimacy. She has a special interest in work with people who have had a cancer.
