I am delighted to join the Sex Therapy New Zealand team as an intern after completing the advanced sex therapy training at Auckland University and extensive relationship counselling training in both NZ and overseas with Dr Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy.  I have a Bachelor Degree in Counselling and engage in continual professional development and supervision, I am a provisional member of NZAC and committed to ethical best practice.

I work from rooms in Green Lane and use a bio-psycho-social perspective that takes into account a broad view of people as biologically, psychologically, socially, spiritually and emotionally wired.  Recognising that relationships are such a vital part of life and our well-being, I particularly enjoy working with couples and individuals who are struggling in terms of the quality of their relationships. My approach to therapy is based on practical real life experience and a pragmatic caring style of listening without judgment.
